US STOCKS-Futures slip on higher oil; Verizon rises

(Reuters) - The second-quarter earnings season picks up steam this
week, with blue-chip fast food chain McDonald's Corp.
set to reveal its second-quarter results before the opening
bell.




Deals hatched over the weekend include a plan to sell real
estate investment trust Mission West Properties to a
