Coffee Rises Most in Five Weeks in New York as Exchange Inventories Drop

(Bloomberg) -- Coffee rose the most in five weeks
in New York as stockpiles fell, indicating demand for the beans
may be picking up.

Inventories in warehouses monitored by the New York Board
of Trade stood at 4.23 million bags on July 12, down 0.2 percent
from a day earlier. The decline was the first since June 25 at
the exchange's delivery points in New York, New Orleans,
Hamburg, Miami and Antwerp, Belgium.
