(Reuters) - South Africa's rand weakened slightly versus the dollar on Monday, and traders said the currency will take a cue from international markets in the absence of domestic market-moving data this week.
The rand stood at 7.2430 at 0630 GMT, a little off its New York close of 7.23 on Friday, but much recovered from a 2-1/2 year low of 7.3645 reached in Johannesburg trade on Friday.
