(Reuters) - The benchmark IPC stock index rose 1.2 percent to
31,840.26 points, while the peso currency firmed
0.11 percent to 10.9105 per dollar.
Shares of Wal-Mart de Mexico were up
1.11 percent at 41.95 pesos after rising to 42.38 in early
trade.
