ICBC Is a `Value Stock' After Trailing All Peers in China, Chairman Says

(Bloomberg) -- The chairman of Industrial &
Commercial Bank of China Ltd. said the company is working to
maximize the value of the stock, the worst performer this year on
the nation's benchmark CSI 300 Index.

``ICBC is a value stock,'' Jiang Jianqing said today in Hong
Kong at the company's first yearly shareholder meeting. ``China
is on the rise. Miracles will happen, and this is the beginning
of it.''
