(Bloomberg) -- The euro touched a record high against
the yen as European economic data and central bank officials fuel
speculation interest rates will rise twice more this year.
The euro rose 0.1 percent to $1.3459 at 1:54 p.m. in New
York, from $1.3448 yesterday. The currency also gained to 163.77
yen after reaching the record 164.02.
