(Bloomberg) -- U.K. stocks rose. Punch Taverns Plc
led the advance after Goldman, Sachs & Co. advised investors to
buy shares in the pub landlord. BHP Billiton Ltd., the world's
largest mining company, also gained.
The FTSE 100 Index added 21, or 0.3 percent, to 6642.4 as of
8:06 a.m. in London.
