(Bloomberg) -- South Korea's Kospi index rose to its
sixth straight record. Samsung Electronics Co. gained after U.S.
government reports suggested growth in the world's largest economy
will recover.
Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. climbed after Shinyoung
Securities Co. said ship prices and new orders momentum will stay
strong up to 2008.
