(Reuters) - The benchmark IPC stock index slipped 1.09 percent
to 31,296.01 points. The peso firmed slightly,
gaining 0.05 percent in local trading to 10.83 per dollar.
Concerns over weakness in the retail sector weighed on
Wal-Mart de Mexico , whose shares dropped
2.37 percent to 41.27 pesos.
